Local shops in Alqueria Blanca include two bakers, a small supermarket, general store and ironmonger. Santanyi has smaller food shops open daily and the closest large supermarket - Eroski. Porto Petro also has a couple of small supermarkets - all have a good selection of wines.

Local market on Tuesday in Alqueria Blanca features fruit and vegetables, clothes, shoes and flowers.

A very popular market on Wednesday and Saturday in Santanyi, featuring fruit and veg, plus flowers, clothes, jewellery and gifts (parking is difficult).

Good dress and shoe shops in Cala d'Or, plus a selection of stylish boutiques in Santanyi as well as in Porto Petro and Porto Colom, open from 10am-1.30pm and 5pm-8pm.

Palma, 45 minutes drive, has a huge selection of shops of course.
